Lemon Garlic Salmon Pasta

Sometimes we all need an easy comforting dinner. A dinner that brings us the comfort and ease of eating out in the comfort of our own house. We need a recipe that tastes restaurant quality and feels like indulging even though it is healthy. Lucky for you, I have the perfect recipe. This is my high protein Lemon Garlic Salmon Pasta.

It's affordable and quick. Believe it or not, it only takes about 15 minutes to make. It's super easy to make and it has 31 g of protein per serving! Not only is it healthy, but it's also pretty affordable. The total cost per serving is $3.89, which is especially not much when considering how the same thing at a restaurant would be 3-4 times that price!

Ingredients: (1 serving)
  • 1/3 cup Canned Salmon - I used Everyday 365 Alaskan Wild Salmon
  • 1/2 cup pasta - use protein pasta for extra protein - I used Organic Gluten Free Yellow Lentil Pasta
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • The zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  • First, cook the pasta by following the directions on your pasta box.
  • When the pasta is cooked drain the pasta except for about 1/4 cup per serving. The amount of pasta water you keep can change depe
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the partially drained pasta.
  • Cook the pasta and sauce on low heat for 3-5 minutes
  • Enjoy!
